Anita Jentzen, CEO
Claim to Fame: Customer Service Champion
Anita founded Detail Planners in 2006 after more than 20 years in the meeting and event industry, including extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical sector. A Certified Meeting Professional, she has held key positions in program operations, onsite management, and customer service throughout her career.
Anita started her career in the airline industry as a gate agent – it doesn't get much tougher than that. She is a strong believer in providing exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations in everything we do.

Fun Fact: When she is not traveling the world supporting programs for clients, Anita raises Monarch butterflies.
Jim Jentzen, President
Claim to Fame: Always goes the extra mile
Jim works closely with the Detail Planners staff coordinating onsite operations and logistics as well as the client experience. He is extremely customer-experience centered and does not stop until he has exceeded the client’s expectations.
What the Team Says: Jim brings humor to most situations.
Fun Fact: He loves to quote “cheesy” song lyrics during conversations.
Marie-Claire Sabogal, Detail Planners Ireland
Claim to Fame: WheRE there is a will, there is always – ALWAYS – a way
Marie-Claire comes to Detail Planners with an extensive hospitality and hotel management background having worked within Four Seasons Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels and with Leading Hotels of the World at The Merrion in Dublin. During her time in Ireland over the last 15 years, she has worked as Head / Chef Concierge, Food & Beverage Supervisor and as an Event Management Specialist. In 2014, she was appointed to the board of Les Clefs d’Or Ireland, the first female to have this honor, and in 2016, was the proud recipient of the Jimmy Connor Award as the Concierge of the Year for the island of Ireland. Marie-Claire operates from our Dublin, Ireland office

Amanda Breiter, MSN, RN, CNL, VP, Client Services
Claim to Fame: GIFT GURU
Amanda has a unique perspective of the event management industry — she began as an entry-level travel director and learned the business from the inside out. Excelling at high-level service with a focus on executive teams, she goes the extra mile to get the job done. Whether it is an intimate Advisory Board Meeting or a large-scale Product Launch, Amanda has a unique commitment to excellence. Amanda is a Master's-prepared Registered Nurse and a certified Clinical Nurse Leader educated at the University of San Francisco.
Fun Fact: Amanda spent 6 weeks in South Africa working at the 2010 World Cup event.
Karen Ampola, VP, Strategic Communications & Marketing
Claim to Fame: Details!
Karen has nearly 30 years of experience in the communications industry with a career that began as a member of a one person advertising agency. She joined Detail Planners in 2007. Prior to that, she worked in marketing preparing new business proposals, planning major client symposiums and developing marketing campaigns. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
What the Team Says: Karen loves a challenge, especially with a deadline.

Michael Bergeron, VP, Logistics
Claim to Fame: Makes it all look so easy
Michael has worked with Detail Planners for over 10 years. He has been a travel director for nearly 20 years, with most of his experience in the pharmaceutical and financial sectors. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1992 with a degree in interpersonal communication with minors in English and photography. He also participated in Disney's College Program and continued working in the parks for 4 years (and is still kind of a Disney fanatic).
What the Team Says: Michael can move 6,000 people around any city in the world with ease, but is the first person to get lost with simple directions.
Craig Bailey, Director, Attendee Experience
Claim to Fame: Service with a smile
Craig joined Detail Planners in 2006 and makes every attendee feel like they are the only person on the planet. Before joining Detail Planners, he worked in the airline industry. His passion for great customer service is second to none.
Fun Fact: Craig has walked on all 7 continents.
Nikki Briggs, Meeting Planner
Claim to Fame: ENERGY
Nikki has nearly 20 years of experience in the event planning, hospitality and special events industry that spans conference services to catering to recreation and tours. She has a passion for events, and her creativity and attention to detail help make her events come to life. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Recreation and Leisure Services.
Fun Fact: Nikki participates with her Krewe in Tampa’s long running tradition of Gasparilla.
Ashlee Dudek, Event Technology Manager
Claim to Fame: Gets the job done
Ashlee is our registration and meeting app wizard! She leverages our registration system and other event technology to meet the vision and needs of the event. In her spare time, Ashlee is working towards completing her bachelor's degree.
What the Team Says: Ashlee is quick, smart and pays attention to the details.
Fun Fact: She collects Converse shoes and watches.
Lorena Little, Registration Manager
Lorena is the face behind all things registration and travel for Detail Planners. Lorena oversees our registration team and handles process improvements, reporting and data quality standards.
Lisa Fetman, Ph.D., Data Analyst
Lisa examines all of our registration data to make sure it is complete, accurate and consistent. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Arizona, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
Ian Blake, Registration Coordinator
Claim to Fame: Gets IT RIGHT
Ian translates data into our registration system. He makes sure it is all complete and accurate so the team can bring to life the exact vision of your event! Ian graduated from the Florida State University with a degree in Physical Science.
Fun Fact: He loves basketball and the Green Bay Packers!
Pam McLaughlin, Finance and Accounting
Claim to Fame: Balanced budgets
Pam handles all accounting matters for Detail Planners. From invoicing to budgets to taxes, she keeps the office humming along. She has degrees in finance and accounting from the University of South Florida.
Interesting to Know: Over the last six years, Pam has guided many struggling high school students to their high school graduation.
Fun Fact: She loves riding motorcycles and mountain biking.
Cayla Shupperd, Graphic Designer
Claim to Fame: Master of new ideas
Cayla is the graphics guru of Detail Planners. From signage to developing an event logo, she can take your event theme and visually bring it to life. In her spare time, she leads site search efforts to find the perfect venue for our clients' meetings and events.

Fun Fact: She is a CrossFit queen!
Hayley Parson, Sr. Administrative Assistant II
Hayley supports the Detail Planners team with passion and efficiency. She keeps the office organized and running smooth. In our fast-paced industry, Hayley never misses a beat!
Julie Still, Designer
Claim to Fame: A stickler for details
Julie is our events design consultant – she makes everything beautiful! She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee. Prior to Detail Planners, she spent 10 years as an interior design consultant and implementing real estate home stagings.
